Our Approach
Good care starts with understanding the person in front of you.
Thats the idea RISE was built around.
Pain can be frustrating, especially when it keeps coming back, has been there for a long time, or you’re no longer sure what you should be doing about it.
At RISE, our longer appointment times allow us to take the time to understand your story, what matters to you and what might be standing between where you are now and where you want to be.
From there, we build a clear plan together.
-
We start by listening to your story and understanding your pain, your experiences, your goals and the things you want to get back to.
-
Your assessment is guided by what we learn from your story, looking at the movement, function, strength or capacity that actually matters to you.
-
We’ll bring everything together, explain what we think is going on and build a clear plan around your goals.
-
Treatment, rehabilitation and education are adapted as you progress, helping you build confidence and capacity while working towards things that matter to you.
Meet Dr Will
Chiropractor | Founder, Rise Pain & Performance
BSc(Chiro), MClinChiro
Dr William Cairns is a chiropractor with a particular interest in pain management, rehabilitation and helping people build confidence in what their body can do.
After completing a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and Master of Clinical Chiropractic, Will’s clinical interests increasingly shifted towards persistent and recurring pain, headaches, rehabilitation and the factors that influence how people experience and recover from pain.
This led him to undertake postgraduate study in Pain Management through the University of Sydney, further developing his approach to understanding pain and working with presentations that don’t always have a simple answer.
Outside the clinic, Will is usually happiest keeping active, training in the gym, getting out on the water for a fish or spending time at home with his wife Lacey and their two dachshunds, Dougie and Daisy. He’s also a big believer in enjoying the simple things, like good coffee, staying active and having plenty of time outdoors.
